The directories can still be accessed using the format \\\\ ComputerName \\ FolderName. The Windows upgrade procedure retains the settings made in previous versions (the HOMEGROUP sharing option appears visually, but cannot be used), and in the case of installing Windows 10, starting with version 1903, the HOMEGRUP option is removed.
