EVRIKA!!!!!
Dupa lungi suferinte si cautari am gasit rezolvarea problemei.
Problema era de la mapare: desi era corect facuta BDE nu o vedea, pur si simplu. Insa se pare ca Windows 7 nu face o mapare asa cum o stim din xp pt ca intr-un fel nu era permanenta sau ceva de genul. Raspunsul de mai jos mi-a dat solutia:
"Are you using a vb script and group policy to map your network drives in Windows 7? Are those drives actually mapping? Mine certainly were not. I stumbled across this post at windows connected, and low and behold, it works.
Browse through the registry of the Windows 7 machine (regedit) and add a new DWORD called EnableLinkedConnections. Set the value to 1. Like so?.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Policies\System
EnableLinkedConnections = 1 (DWord)
Now log out and back in again, and you should have your drives."

Deci ca si concluzie: nu trebuie adaugata decat o cheie DWORD32 in registry prin care sa ii spunem ca sa tina deschisa maparea.
